What Blogbox is
Blogbox is an independent Australian publication about the expensive decisions: putting solar on the roof, buying a first home, refinancing a mortgage, hiring a tradie, making a compensation claim, running a business. These are the moments where a few hours of good information is worth thousands of dollars, and where most of what is online is either a sales pitch or a thin summary that does not answer the question you actually asked.
We write the guide we wish existed: plain English, real Australian numbers, the current rules, and a clear answer.

Every guide is built on current Australian sources: government schemes, regulator guidance, and real pricing. The rules change often, so each guide carries the date it was last checked.
