Editorial
Editorial policy
Blogbox's editorial standards covering sourcing, corrections, conflicts of interest, and AI-assistance disclosure.
TODO · Placeholder policy text for launch. A final version should be reviewed by legal and a senior editor before publication.
Sourcing
Every factual claim in a Blogbox article is traceable to either a named source, a public document, or a direct observation by the reporter. Where an anonymous source is used, the reason is explained in-line.
Corrections
Factual errors are corrected transparently. Corrections are noted at the foot of the article with the date and the nature of the change. Substantive corrections are also noted in a running corrections log.
Conflicts of interest
Reporters disclose conflicts of interest that might reasonably be thought to affect their coverage. Reporters don’t take paid work from companies they cover in the twelve months before or after writing about them.
AI assistance
Blogbox writers use AI tools for research assistance: summarising long documents, pulling transcripts, drafting interview prep. Where AI is used materially in drafting an article, the article carries an AI-assistance note. AI is not used to generate quotes, to synthesise sources, or to replace reporting.
Advertising and sponsored content
Blogbox takes no money for editorial coverage. Sponsored content, when it exists, is clearly labelled as such at the top of the article, in the URL, and in the article’s schema. Editorial coverage of Blogbox’s ownership’s other businesses is disclosed under the separate disclosure policy.
Complaints
To raise a concern about a Blogbox article, email corrections@blogbox.com.au. We aim to respond within two business days.
